NTT INDYCAR SERIES and NBC Sports unveil broadcast times and networks
DETROIT, Mich. (Feb. 20, 2024) – Building on the momentum of a record-breaking Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix presented by Lear in the event’s return to the Streets of Downtown Detroit in 2023, the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and Grand Prix officials along with NBC Sports today announced broadcast times and networks for this summer’s Detroit Grand Prix.
INDYCAR will return to the nine-turn, 1.645-mile Streets of Downtown Detroit circuit that runs along the award-winning Detroit Riverwalk, May 31-June 2, 2024. With new viewing options and entertainment packages, fans will be able to purchase tickets at www.DetroitGP.com/Tickets or through the event’s Ticket Hotline at 866-464-PRIX (7749). The reimagined Detroit Grand Prix also will play host to concerts and bring in vendors from across the region.
Coverage of the Chevrolet INDYCAR Grand Prix will begin at noon E.T. Sunday, June 2 on USA Network and streaming on Peacock. The Grand Prix will be streamed live on Peacock and heard on INDYCAR Radio Network on SiriusXM Radio Channel 218. Leigh Diffey is the announcer with analysts Townsend Bell and James Hinchcliffe. Grand Prix attendees will once again enjoy a diverse and exciting racing lineup competing on the challenging nine-turn street circuit in Downtown Detroit. The exotic sports cars of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship will race wheel-to-wheel in the Chevrolet Sports Car Classic on Saturday, June 1. The superstars of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES will compete in Round 6 of the 2024 season on Sunday, June 2 in the Chevrolet INDYCAR Grand Prix. The future stars of open-wheel racing will test their street course skills as INDY NXT by Firestone will also be in action Friday-Sunday at the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix presented by Lear.
